Configuration options

The RS-485/422 SLIM on the ACM/Flex16 offers a wide range of

features and configuration options. These features and options

include:

 Line bias features

 Line load options

You select these options and features by four (one for each port),

6 position DIP switches on the SLIM. Please refer to Figure 16

for the locations of these DIP switches on the RS-485/422 SLIM.

Please refer to Table 7 for the port number/switch block

relationship; and to Table 8 for a summary of the line load

options.

WARNING

Do not use a pencil to set the DIP switches as the lead graphite

may short-circuit the switch.
